We made the trek up to Calgary to meet back up with everyone for Harpers blessing. Finally all our husbands joined us and I was amazing. Denton gave Harper a beautiful blessing. We are corn and loved on our first girl cousin.
The next day we decided to brave the Banff weather and some more sight seeing. We started by hiking to Johnston Canyon. It was beautiful of course and we lucked out and it barely rained on us while we were hiking! It was so great to have husbands back with us for this outing!
Next up was a stop at beautiful Moraine Lake. We pretty much forced Quinn to go to the top lookout point and I’m so happy she did. That view is amazing!
We of course hit up the hot springs before coming home. It was a great day.
Finally it was time for calaway Park! I am a complete ride junkie and Scarlett seems to be following that. Quinn is a little bit more scared but still tried most of the rides she was tall enough for. We only briefly lost Lincoln and everyone was exhausted by the end of the day so I call it a success.
We said our goodbyes to Elise and the rest of us headed to Edmonton. It’s the best when all 4 of is are together and so sad when we have to say goodbye to someone! We love our matching home shirts!
We took advantage of the beautiful weather in Edmonton and rode the train across the bridge to the Legislature fountains. We of course almost missed the train. The kids had a blast and Lincoln was obsessed with the train ride.
After the legislature we stopped at ReGrub in whyte ave and had milk shakes and some food. We headed home and the boys went to the Metallica concert which was apparently amazing and made all their dreams come true. We hot tubbed and hung out before the Scow’s headed back to Alaska the next day. It was a great summer vacation with cousins and we can’t wait until we are all together again!
