We did a cousin gift exchange since we weren't all able to be together at Christmas. The kids loved it!
The Easter bunny also managed to find us all there.
We did a lot of swimming. We lucked out and got a condo right across from the rec Center and we took advantage. We swam at least once a day and sometimes twice.
Danielle's kids had never dyed Easter eggs so I made sure that was remedied. Dying eggs with that many kids is definitely an adventure.
Then we of course had to roll them down the big hill behind our cabin.
Once Tyler left I got some sleeping friends in my bed on most nights.
We decided to home the HooDoo trail. There was a lot of complaining and the view was ok. But we hiked!
We enjoyed lots of cousin bonding time.
And aunt bonding time.
We decided to take my friends advice and check out the Lussier hot springs. We piled our 7 kids in the car and drove down the sketchiest logging road. The hot springs were so pretty more so once the naked hippies left. Definitely worth taking our lives in our hands for.
We decided another day of skiing was necessary. So we swapped off kid watching and skiing. It was an adventure but worth it. Mason may have fallen asleep in the snow and I may have had a melt down trying to get Quinn down the mountain but still worth it.
We also enjoyed ice cream from our favourite store, I got stuck in a tire swing at the park, played some Bingo. Sadly we all lost! And finished with a movie.
After we had packed up and made it back to Calgary Danielle was feeling super ambitious and thought we should check out the zoo. The kids were exhausted from all our previous fun but we never stop. 3 moms and 7 kids 7 and under can do a lot!
We finished off the trip with a cousins couch picture and a sister selfie!
