Danielle and the kids flew here at the beginning of August and these 2 were pretty happy about finally getting to snuggle Harper! She is seriously the best baby!
Then it was off to my moms where we started swimming lessons the next day. These 2 are the cutest little besties and were even in the same swimming class.
Then we couldn’t get out on the boat days enough. We were blessed with beautiful hot weather and tried to soak up every minute. Scarlett was so brave on the easy ski and Quinn like her Dad could have tubed all day. I was much happier when I was wearing my moms wet suit. Cold water is not my friend.
Next we took our millions of kids for a day trip to Waterton. We initially thought about doing Wall lake but settled for Crandell. It was the right decision for our 7 children. The kids did ok on the hike and loved swimming and playing at the lake. No trip to Waterton would be complete without a stop at the big scoop!C
These girls were obsessed with a warm shower after swimming lessons!
We loaded up the kids and met up with my grandparents in Taber. The kids played at the park and of course we had KFC! It was so great to see them!
We decided to take the boat out to St Mary’s. The water was nice but it was way too low. The beaches were sinking mud pits and there were sand bars everywhere. We still managed to get so quality time in behind the boat. I love wake boarding!
The next day the older kids got to go spend time at Tyler’s parents house. They rode horses, hit tubbed, swam, and filled up on treats.
We spent most of our days outside. Parks, quads, cousin time galore. I love love love watching my kids play with their cousins.
We left all our sleeping kids with Paul and took my mom out for Appys and dessert for her birthday. Love these ladies!
We hit up the Magrath trail as per tradition and found our names on the donation bricks! Thanks Mom! We love the mAgrath trail even though our kids are slow and Lincoln wanted to push the stroller the whole time instead of ride in it...We took Tannis and Nathan out on the boat and I got up on the slalom ski!! To top off the night Paul took some nice Hutterite girls who didn’t know how to swim for a tube ride.
That’s all for part 1.
