Early October

October this year continued to be warm and beautiful with only a little skiff of snow towards the end so we tried to enjoy it all that we could. Scarlett keeps getting bigger and has started to roll from front to back (tummy time is a no go) and side to side. She is starting to play with her toys and has even giggled a couple times (mostly for Uncle Nathan). 

We started out the month at the zoo! My friend from high school Mandee came up with her two kids and we met up with Jen and Anna and hit up the valley zoo. It was a perfect morning. Lucy was of course out on a walk the entire time. Love that elephant! Scarlett slept the whole time like a perfect baby and Quinn loved all the animals...except the tiger. It was great to see Mandee and her kids. Come visit again!

Scarlett has really expressive eyebrows. She raises them both or one at a time. She likes to make her eyes really big and talk also.

 She likes to take her afternoon naps in the swing. Just perfection I tell you.

 We went on quite a few walks and bike rides this month. Quinn is finally getting the hang of the strider...just in time for winter!

 Quinny & I went on a hot date to duchess bake shop for macaroons. It was fun to get out just the two of us. 

 Obsessed with bubble baths lately.

 We started a weekly lunch date with Dad on Wednesdays. It is something for all of us to look forward to and it really breaks up the week. Plus we get to see Dad more often which none of us girls are complaining about!

We headed down to Souther Alberta for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately these are the only pictures I took. Quinn was stuffed up, coughing, and fevery for the entire weekend. So she was less than pleasant and slept a lot. Scar was cute as ever. We enjoyed 2 thanksgiving dinners, played games, saw friends and family. It was good to be home.

My friend Jazmin made these Minnie Mouse toques for the girls. They are so cute and we all love them!

I sure am thankful for these 3. I can't imagine my life without them. I love having two girls and am so excited that these two get to have a sister. There is nothing better. Tyler is the best Dad and husband. He is so good with the girls, handy, and such a hard worker. I feel blessed just looking at this picture.

We love going to gymnastics and this time met up with Robin and the boys for some fun. Our babies were perfectly behaved and the toddlers loved it. The new facility is awesome!

We bought a hot tub! We are pretty excited about it. We got if off kijiji and have had some trouble getting it up and running but we are excited it should be going this week! Tyler cut out part of the deck and built a base for it and then they dropped it in. Handy I tell ya!

We of course enjoyed some more park dates. We love to be outside. Too bad winter is bound to come...

Quinny likes to be near Scarlett at all times. Scarlett usually doesn't complain. Quinn decided to eat breakfast right by her and sit in her bumbo...

 Scarlett found her feet!

 Scarlett graduated from her baby tub and is loving it. She just kicks like crazy and tries not to be drowned by her crazy big sister.

 Quinny loves to go into Scarletts room in the morning and climb in her crib with her. Clearly Scarlett is not complaining. Love my girls!
