Good-byes are hard

We spent lots of time with friends in April. The weather finally warmed up a little so we got to go to the playground lots and ride Quinn's new bike that her Dad spoiled her with. We definitely gave the Stridor a valiant effort but it looks like a princess bike with training wheels is more this girl's speed. She loves to go on bike rides outside and inside and is getting so fast already!

The last weekend in April we took yet another trip to Southern Alberta for Carson's mission farewell talk and dinner. Before we left Scarlett had her 9 month check-up. She is healthy as ever. Weighing in at 17 lbs 6 oz and 28 inches long. Definitely smaller than her sister was but we love her to pieces. She was smiley and talking through the whole check up of course. Such a good girl.

We had such a fun weekend when we made it there. We spent as much time with Carson as we could. We went bowling as a family, went out to a movie without the kids, Carson gave an amazing talk in church and we enjoyed a delicious meal afterwards. We got to see so much family. It was definitely bitter sweet.

We said our goodbyes and headed back to Edmonton. It is definitely sad to see him go. We are going to miss this big lug like crazy! We are so proud of him! Two years will fly by I just know it!
