Cousin Visit

A few days after returning from Girls Camp my sister and her 3 kids arrived from Idaho. Whenever she visits we are good moms and do something fun everyday. We lucked out with beautiful weather and the kids were great. We finished the basement just in time for Muffy and the 3 boys to stay downstairs. It was perfect. We are loving the new space. The day she got here we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Cohen we pretty excited about it. All the kids had fun and devoured the barely edible pizza.

Sunday was spent doing Sunday things. And most importantly walks to the park and playing in the sand.

On Monday we finally hit up the Edmonton Streetcar and the Legislature fountains. After living here for 9 years I'm pretty happy to check this off my list. It definitely didn't disappoint. The kids loved it and the weather was beautiful. We even had Tannis join us again!

Tannis was a little overwhelmed by our trip to Costco. I don't think 5 kids under the age of 6 is in her future...

Next up was a trip to West Edmonton Mall Amusement Park. (Good moms right?). The kids could ride way more rides by themselves. It was awesome! They definitely had fun. I think the favorites were the bumper cars and the go carts. Quinn and Cohen also liked the dinosaur roller coaster.

The best part was later that evening when Muffy and I went to my soccer game Tyler took the 3 kids back for more fun!

The night before we were leaving to head down to Welling I had to go sign some stuff and pick up the Flex. This is what happened in my absence. You would think with two babysitters she could have been a little better taken care  of...Jokes she is just a crazy messy eater.

We finally got to leave the kids and go out for a girls night. We hit up the melting pot and forgot to take pictures because our waitress was so mean to us! We were all a little flustered...that has never happened there. Luckily the food was still good and Muffy didn't yell at her even though she kept telling us she was going to.

Next up we packed up all our stuff and headed out to make the journey to Welling. It was definitely an adventure with that many kids in the car. Unfortunately we fed the kids slurpees so we had to stop for numerous pee breaks. We broke up the journey by stopping at A walk on the Wild Side in Innisfail. I seriously love this place. It was a great stop over before we went the rest of the way. We also hit a serious hail storm in Airdrie but Muffy made it out unscathed. We were pretty happy to make it to Grandma's in one piece and the countdown began till our husbands and sisters joined us.
