New Years

We rested for a day and then Tyler went to work for a day before we headed down to southern alberta for more festivities. We arrived at Tyler's parents late at night so we opened presents with them the next morning. We were spoiled again. Quinny got a huge singing Elsa that sadly doesn't sing. Scarlett got mr potato head. Tyler got new workout clothes and I got spoiled with a completely redone window to hang in my kitchen. I'm so excited!!

Later that day we hit up the bowling alley. It was so fun. Sadly I tried to chase Scarlett down the lane and slipped and landed hard on my bum. I was in pain for a couple of days and didn't bowl very well. Quinn loved it of course and Scarlett was tolerable. After bowling we headed over to see grandpa smith since we missed him at Christmas. It was good to see him since we don't get to very often. Quinn was so friendly and nice it was great.

On New Year's Eve we headed up to Waterton and met up with the Ericksons. We all stayed over at the Zobrist cabin. We are, played games, went swimming, and just enjoyed each other. It was so much fun. We made it past midnight and rang in 2015.

In New Year's Day we went out sledding and playing outside. It was not too windy or cold so it was fun. Quinn was pretty grumpy outside but had fun in the truck with Ruby. Scarlett on the other hand was in her element and could have stayed outside all say.

We enjoyed on last delicious meal before hitting the road. We left straight from Waterton to avoid some crazy weather the next day and I'm so glad we did. It was till icey between red deer and Edmonton but we made it home safe. The highway was closed the next day because of fatal accidents! It was so nice to get away but even better to finally be home together. Bring on 2015!
