July 3rd is my Dads birthday so we took all the kids to
the cemetery for a tour. I think he would be proud of all of us. I sure do miss him!
We did some tubing at Jensens. It was way too cold and windy to do anything else but we still had a blast. Love all these cousins.
We took a trip to a few grocery stores by ourselves with our 6 kids to stock up on food for the weeks. When more than half are crying or whining it doesn't feel like it was a good idea but we survived!
The weather was not warm so hot showers after lessons were a must.
We got one really hot day and headed out to meet up with Lauren at Wallys. I seriously love his place. We spent most of the day there and the kids were filthy and happy. It was a good day.
Next up was the Coaldale candy parade. The candy wasn't that great. I think Magrath or Raymond does better but we did sit across from Darryl Sutter!
There was plenty of cousin bathes!
Tannis finally returned from Spain and we were all pretty excited about it. We definitely missed her. We headed out for a nice walk on the Magrath trail and then stopped in for some lunch at the farmers market. Man I love small town life!
We made a visit to John and Sheri's for some food, haircuts and bonding. I love these people. It's even more fun now that my cousins are older and we can hang out. Love it! They are all so great with the kids!
We took all the kids for a swim. They loved it and so did we. There is so much to do at the Raymond pool and the lifeguards are so lax. We all had a great time.
The kids successfully passed swimming lessons!
We went on lots of quad rides. Without helmets or the proper number of people. We all loved!
We convinced the kids that bridgejumping is awesome and took them. We got them all to jump despite tears and bribery and fear everyone did it!
These kids were playing outside while we were visiting with grandma. Apparently they needed darker skin for whatever game they were playing and thought mud with do fine to help with that. Sadly this wasn't the only time this happened in the two weeks we were there!
We left the kids one day with Tyler's parents and went to Lethbridge with only two kids. It was magical!
We had to go to Calgary to pick up Denton so we planned to go to calaway park. Sadly due to the crazy thundershowers that were happening we braved the zoo instead. It actually turned out to be the perfect day and it didn't rain until we were leaving the park. At which point we got drenched but it was worth it.
We enjoyed some couple yoga. Tyler and I were clearly the best! Haha it is so fun to have all the couples together!
Next up was puttz (which has seriously downgraded) and supper in the park.
We got a babysitter and escaped from all the kids. We did an escape room. It was really fun and we of course escaped! Love this family!
