The first day we got there we decided to try out the new paved trail down by the fishpond. The kids got to ride their bikes and Muff got to relive all her memories of jumping off the spill gates into the swimmers itch water from Junior High.
It has been a lot of years coming but these are actually starting to get along. They can play together unsupervised without someone bleeding and crying. I would even venture to say that they are starting to like each other. Makes these visits so much less stressful.
Pants are always optional at Grandmas House
Quad rides were a popular activity. We often load as many kids on as we can fit without helmets. Don't worry we drive REALLY slow...Don't report us.
Scarlett was OBSESSED with Ollie. As soon as he was anywhere she could reach him she would motor over and pester him. Made sleeping and floor time difficult for the poor babe.
A trip to southern alberta would not be complete without a trip to Kevin's horse farm. Mason LOVES the horses and could ride for a lot longer than the other two. Scar rode for her first time and we even got Quinn on a horse. I'd say the trip was a win.
There were a few days that we skipped naps. Or we took them in the car. Mason was having a really hard time waking up. This boy needs his sleep.
Sometimes we need a break from the madness that is our children. So a brief movie break is necessary once per trip.
My baby sister turned 22! I can hardly believe it. I'm officially old. We celebrated with a little gluten free Skor cake and swimming. Then we went out to Boston Pizza for supper that night without kids. Thanks to Paul for staying with our sleeping babies. It was a good day.
There were way too many snow bobs, beverages, and treats eaten while we were there. These three monsters found some leftovers and quietly hid behind the island and shared an entire snow bob!
Gotta love a good cousin bath.
Quinny is pretty obsessed with Ollie. And how can you not be? He is to die for!
Tanner and Jessy got a new puppy that came to visit. He is so cute! Didn't take long for him to pee on the carpet. Made me pretty happy I don't have a puppy!
Mason. Again with the sleeping.
Muffy finally got herself a chariot so we had to go try it out. I love bike rides and walks with the kids. Scar doesn't love the Ergo but we are working on it.
Love these five perfect kids. I can't wait till we are all together again in July. With husbands this time!
Love the classic old high chair picture.
It was a great week that went by way to quickly. We also went to grad. Spoke in hash tags. Learned how to text with emojis. Had dinner with John and Sheri. Shopped at stupid store. Seriously the best time.
