January continued

January is always a busy month at our house. It's good for me to stay busy after Christmas is over and there is always lots to do.

Quinny has a great group of girls her age in our ward. They are all born within a couple months of each other and all of them have only brothers! So one of their moms orchestrated a weekly play date. On Mondays they rotate around houses and play for a few hours. They are seriously the cutest. They play princesses and Mommys and kitty's. They do crafts and eat snacks and get in girl fights. It's seriously hilarious. Quinny is pretty lucky to have such fun friends!

Scarlett is dying for her hair to grow. She brings a comb, spray and elastic and sits quietly till it's done. It's pretty cute now but I can't wait till it grows!

The third weekend in January Tyler took me away to jasper for the night. We left our kids with Brooke and they had a blast. We are out at the jasper brewing company. Delicious! And stayed over at maligne lodge. Tyler's favorite! Then headed out snowboarding all day Saturday. The weather was gorgeous and it was nice to be back in the mountains. It was also jasper in January so everything was cheaper. Win-win. Tyler and I are huge fans of marmot basin and can't wait to start taking our kids there in the next few years. It was so nice to get away with just Tyler and I. Sure do love this guy!

We got lost in the trees shortly after this picture was taken. We were at the out of bounds sign and could hear dynamite setting off avalanches. We had to take our boards off and hike out. Crazy but fun.

We finally took the girls for their immunizations. Scarlett got 4 needles and Quinn got 1. There was a lot of screaming but they have handled the post recovery like champs. They also got ice cream as a reward. Yay for not having to go back till Scar is 4!!

We got to have lunch with Dad and Quinn loves to play in his clinic. She raids his fridge, drinks all the water, and climbs in his chairs. It's the best!

We keep meaning to wean scar off the bottle. But how can you when she drinks it and lounges like this?!

These two are actually starting to play together sometime. Can't wait till scar can actually talk better then the fun will begin!

January had the most beautiful 2 weeks of weather. We tried to get out when we could. On this day we rode bikes and played at the park. The kids were in heaven. Now we can hardly wait till spring!

Quinny also took her first trip to the dentist. She did way better then I expected and didn't even cry! I was so proud. And no cavities! It was a busy and fun month. Bring on February!
