The weather warmed up a bit in May and we got to start taking trips to the park. Scarlett of course refuses to go in the baby swings and also requires multiple underducks just like her big sister.
We also got out to the dog park a few times. Quinn loves to walk Rocko on his leash. Even though it is an off leash area...Rocko doesn't love it quite as much but tolerates her.
This cute girl had her first day of Soccer. She loves it! As long as she isn't too tired. It took awhile for her to figure out that people can take the ball from her and that she can run and get it back but she is slowly picking it up.
We went to the drop in gymnastics with some friends. Of course Blakely and Quinn would rather play with the toys than on the actual equipment...
We got a random freak snow storm. It was warm and wet so we ventured out to make a snowman. Quinn wasn't afraid of this one. It melted pretty quick but it was fun while it lasted.
For the long weekend we headed down to Southern Alberta. We made a stop in Calgary and checked out Telus Spark. It is a pretty sweet set up with lots of kids options. We met up with Tyler's parents and Brooke as well. It was fun to get together. The kids especially loved the giant slide outside and didn't love the dinosaurs.
Tannis had a birthday so we used that as an excuse to eat steak and make skor cake. It was delicious as always. We all love our Tanny and are going to be very very very sad when she moves to Spain in January.
Quinny had a little trampoline accident which resulted in a large cut on her head and 3 stitches. We waited in Emerg for quite sometime. It was less than enjoyable but she was a champ!
We went out to Sherwood park and celebrated Griffeys birthday with some cupcakes and presents. We sure do love that Griffy boy!
We started our water activities early this year. I bought a new sprinkler toy which ended up being kind of a bust. We also frequented many spray parks including this one in Terwillegar.
Tyler joined a summer hockey team of course. Except this year he played out instead of goalie. He enjoyed reminding himself how to skate and also getting some extra exercise in. What would summer be without hockey?
