Pre Christmas shenanigans

The weekend before Christmas we headed down to southern Alberta for a little family fun. We were busy busy seeing everyone since we wouldn't be home for Christmas.

We went down Thursday night and spent the night at Darcy and Lauren's. We spent way to much time playing WiiU and stayed up way too late. On Friday we hung out then went to Star Wars! It was awesome and I'm not even a fan! I loved it. Scariest moment when we got back and couldn't find scar anywhere! We searched the whole house. I was getting panicked when I found her under a pile of pillows wedged between the pack and play and couch sleeping. I guess missing naps is a bad choice.

We had Christmas with my mom and Paul. Paul got a fishing rod and we have mom a wallet, water bottle, and mittens. From all the kids.

The next night we went over to Grandpa smiths for cabbage rolls and gifts. It was fun to see everyone there.

We also got to see John and Sheri and the boys later on that night.

On Sunday we went over to Kevin and monettes for supper. We got to visit with the grandparents and Payton got to meet Lincoln. Then we left our kids there and headed out to airdrie with just Lincoln.

The next morning we headed out with Tim and Elise for some snowboarding at Lake Louise. The snow was great. It was awesome to get back out there. There is just something magical about being alone in a big bowl of snow in the mountains. My happy place. We switched off who was watching Lincoln. So me and Elise got to get some quality time in together.

The next 2 days were spent preparing for everyone to come for Christmas. Lots of shopping and baking. This line at Costco was insane!
